I am originally from Lima-Peru and I am fluent in Spanish, French and English. I graduated Suma Cum Laude from Saint Augustine College in 2003 obtaining an associate degree in Liberal Arts. In 2005, I completed my bachelor’s degree (Dean’s List) in business management from Northeastern Illinois University.
In 2012, I completed an Early Childhood and Infant & Toddler credential from Seton Montessori Institute accredited by The American Montessori Society (AMS) and the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE).
I have been involved in Montessori education since 2006 and have acquired solid expertise in teaching the Montessori curricula during my employment at accredited schools located in Park Ridge, IL, in Las Vegas, NV, and my current position at AGBMS. In addition, I am an approved trainer for our newly formed Montessori Teacher Training Institute (MTTI) through the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the Illinois Gateways to Opportunity for early care and education professionals.
After familiarizing myself with the early childhood educational system and exploring options for my own children, I identified the Montessori philosophy as a good predictor of academic success and social development. I believe the key to my success as a Montessori educator is my ability to motivate children during their sensitive periods of learning through the daily observation of their educational interests and provide a prepared environment accordingly.
My transition to AGBMS has been a positive experience. I have had the opportunity to wear many “hats” at this school and feel that this is exactly where I need to be in my professional journey. From Infant/Toddler Directress, to Education Coordinator, and now Associate Director of the school, I am confident that I have the necessary skills and knowledge to help lead this school.

Kicking off the school year with enthusiasm and renewed energy; Greeting students and parents at the door and welcoming them to a new school day; Reviewing student data and seeing that students have made considerable academic gains thanks to the commitment of their teachers; Conversations with teachers, parents, and students that are positive and uplifting; Modeling that professional learning is a lifelong process that occurs daily, and, Knowing that each day is different and there are so many things I LOVE about being part of the AGBMS Community!
