Elizabeth Gorey

Montessori Paraprofessional

I started my journey at AGBMS in the summer of 2013 while I was still attending Harper College. I was initially hired to be an assistant in the AM and PM Care Program.
And, so my journey began…

Elizabeth Gorey has always had a special place in her heart for children. She began working at AGBMS in 2013 as an assistant in the care program. Elizabeth has worked with all age groups and on the special services team. She was recently promoted to the lead teacher of the infant and toddler program and is looking forward to helping your child flourish.

Elizabeth has attended Harper College where she studied early childhood education. She is currently enrolled in AGBMS-MTTI (Montessori Teacher Training Institute). Elizabeth is also a candidate for her CDA (Child Development Associate) through the CDA National Credentialing Program. Elizabeth is proficient in cued speech and can also provide basic signs for the children.
Elizabeth is excited to work with our youngest children to provide basic life skills that will create a foundation for lifetime learning. Elizabeth will provide an enriching Montessori environment that will include language, music, literacy, gross and fine motor skills development.
