Dawn Schintgen

Teacher Assistant &
PM Care Coordinator

I joined AGBMS in 2014 after transferring from my previous position as an assistant at Three Oaks Montessori School.
I was raised in Wheeling, Illinois and attended school there. After completing classes at Harper College, I decided to volunteer at my son’s school, which would become my passion. I have volunteered as well as a teaching assistant in Schaumburg and Palatine public schools with interest in working with special needs children.
In 2011, I accepted my first position at a Montessori school, and I loved the philosophy and the independence that children receive through its curriculum. While at AGBMS I have been a teaching assistant, before and after school coordinator, summer camp coordinator and the physical education assistant.
I come to school every day with a smile on my face and a song in my heart! I love what I do
