Registration Fees
The $100 registration fee is nonrefundable. Each
family only pays
one registration, one
time.
Tuition Payments
Tuition is due in ten (10) installments beginning
August 1, and
the first of each month
thereafter until May 1st.
Parents may pay by cash, check or money
order. Those who pay
by cash shall be
issued a receipt at the time of payment.
Tuition Discounts
We offer three opportunities for discounts on tuition.
All
discounts apply to tuition only, not
fees:
- Early Payment – There is a 5% discount offered for full
payment of tuition by August 1 or
no later than the
first day of school.
- Sibling Discount – There is a 10% discount (tuition and care
only) for each additional sibling enrolled
in the school, provided
the parents pay
tuition and care for the other child or children
as well.
- Referral Discount – Refer a family to us at any time during
the year and get a month’s free tuition if
they enroll.
Late Payment of Tuition
Since we are a small school, timely payment of tuition is
important. Tuition not paid by the 5th of the
month result in a $25
late fee. If tuition is
not paid by the 10th of the month, we ask
that
you meet with us to discuss the situation. If there are
extenuating circumstances, we will work with
you to make
arrangements for a payment plan.
While AGMBS believes in working
with families
to resolve payment issues, we reserve the right to
terminate enrollment if tuition falls
seriously behind.
Deposits
A non-refundable $500 deposit is due from all families.
This deposit will be applied to the last
month’s tuition (May or
April/May). New
students will need to make a $500 non-refundable
deposit at the time they enroll.
Families with a deposit
already paid toward
the current school year may elect to apply this
deposit to the following school year’s deposit
requirement.
Forfeited Deposits
Enrollment at AGBMS is considered to be a commitment for the
entire school year. Staffing levels are
set and other cost
commitments are made based
on planned annual enrollment
levels.
Students who leave before the end of the school year
shall have their entire $500 deposit
forfeited, except in those
cases where a
family is moving out of the area.
Parent Association Dues
Parent Association Dues are requested each year. Dues cover the
entire family and are $50 per year (prorated
to $25 for families
joining after January
1).
American Montessori Society Dues Families who enroll
automatically become members of the American
Montessori Society and
are asked to pay annual
dues. Dues are:
- First enrolled child: $45.50
- Each additional enrolled child: $10.00
AMS Dues are not assessed after July 1 for the following
school year.
Activity Fee
- Children's House - $50 Elementary - $75
- After January 1, Children's House - $37.50 Elementary -
$56.25.
Returned Check Charge
There is a $20 charge for all returned checks.
