Children’s
House:
All children need to bring to school these very important
basics:
- A
complete change of clothes, including socks, clearly labeled with
your child’s
name.
- Sunscreen
and bug spray for the warmer months.
- Coats,
snow pants, scarves, boots, and gloves for the winter months. We go outside everyday,
unless it is raining or below 10 degrees.
- Nappers
(3 and 4 year olds) need a fitted crib sheet, blanket, and a small
pillow. A comfort object may be brought for naptime only.
- Indoor
shoes, especially during the winter.
- Proper
shoes for playing out of doors, running, and climbing.
- No
toys, back packs or expensive clothing.
- Please
send containers for your child’s lunch, which they can open on
their own. This
promotes independence.
Elementary:
- Proper
shoes for playing out of doors and gym class on
Wednesdays.
- Coats,
snow pants, scarves, gloves, boots for the winter
months.
- Each
child may bring a water bottle for his/her use. It should be kept in their
cubby or in the refrigerator clearly labeled with your child’s
name.
- Each
child brings his own lunch, which is stored in a large
refrigerator. Once a week each child
may warm their lunch in the microwave for no more than 1(one)
minute.
- Sunscreen
and bug spray for the warmer months.
- Please:
No toys, video games, CD’s or back packs to school.
**
Please note: All
supplies (paper, notebooks, pencils, markers, etc.) are given to the
children as needed for their work. You do not have to purchase
supplies for your child at the beginning of the year. Elementary children are
allowed to bring in a small pencil case, their own little pencil
sharpener or a special folder if they wish.
