What is Montessori?
All our Montessori directresses (teachers) spend part of the day observing the children. Montessorians are trained observers, and as such look for motivations for behaviors, patterns of behavior, group dynamics and one to one relationships.
Our teachers place an emphasis on cognitive development within the context of social, emotional and physical growth.
Their mainly individualized instruction is aimed at helping children understand how to manage hands-on project materials.
