The half-day morning program provides your child with the foundation for a life of creative learning. Your child will develop and refine a sense of order by engaging in activities ranging from scrubbing to phonetic spelling to simple mathematical operations.
At 9:00 the children have line time which is an opportunity for them to sing together or do large muscle movement exercises. This is also a time for sharing news or watching presentations of new materials. After line time the children have work time. This is the part of the day when the children work on their own or in small groups. There is also a high protein, low or no sugar breakfast type snack available for all the children at this time. Weather permitting, the children have playtime outside. The children go out to play every day unless it is raining or the wind chill is below 10 degrees. After play time, the children come indoors to the line to end their morning time. At this time, children enrolled in our half-day program go home at 12:00.
